McCain The Rock Star

Over the past two weeks McCain and his team have really started to stick a spear in the side of Barack Obama. After Obama's ego-trip around the world failed to even produce a single uptick in the polls McCain has gone on the attack via two very clever internet ads and now a well-timed and very imaginative appearance at the Harley Davidson Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.

McCain put it best, "As you may know, not long ago, a couple of hundred thousand Berliners made a lot of noise for my opponent. I'll take the roar of 50,000 Harleys any day! (cheers) Any day, my friends!"

Obama is not surviving the long hot-summer where the major candidates are vetted by the American people. McCain is even leading in some polls - despite a tremendous disadvantage in the free media advertising from the main stream media.

Is a blow-out for McCain brewing? Just think if he holds all of W's states from 2004 and picks up Michigan and New Hampshire -- That would give him an electoral win of 307-231 -- I think that exact margin may be around the corner...And if the blue collar democrats of Pennsylvania turn for McCain this thing becomes a laugher. If you are intellectually honest you will have to admit that the likelihood of McCain's wins in Michigan and New Hampshire are much more plausible than similar Obama pickups in Virginia and Ohio.

Obama's path to victory is very murky at this point...
