Why Is John McCain Ignoring The Employee Free Choice Act

It is shocking and amazing that John McCain continues to take hit after hit in the debates without responding to Obama's outragerous claims and policies. The pledge of tax decreases to 95% of the American population is an outright fabrication, and has been discredited widely including in a recent Wall Street Journal Article. Obama's mantra that the middle-class drives the American economy really is pathetic. Again and again for some unknown reason McCain lets these claims go without retort in the debates.

Regardless of these issues it is shocking that McCain has barely even whispered about Obama's support for the Employee Free Choice Act. The Unions have pumped about a billion dollars into the effort to get this law passed. Most people don't know that the act was already ratified by the House and is currently blockaded by the Senate and a promised veto from President Bush. If Obama wins this law is coming and American industry and clout will become a thing of the past.

Why does McCain fail to bring this up?

The Employee Free Choice Act will:

Eliminate the secret ballot in union election
Mandate binding arbitration during contract negotiations
Dramatically increase the fines for unfair labor practices for employers
